This is a brand new, OEM thermostat kit for many Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate by Whirlpool and other dryers made by Whirlpool. If your dryer's not heating, this may be the cause!
The thermal fuse is set at 352 degrees F, and the thermostat at 250 degrees F. These two are very important to your dryer's operation because they keep it from getting too hot and catching fire. Make sure and replace them when you doubt their operation.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Install BOTH components included in the package, they are designed to work together!
